There is nothing more important than the present moment from Elena Dragan's blog

Nothing in this world is more important than the moment in which we are now, nothing in this world is more important than the present moment, the one in which we live now. We are in a daily rush where we try to do as many things as possible, we try to please as many people as possible, we try to be flawless with our boss, wife, friends, mother, father, grandmother, neighbor from 2.

We are trying to gather as many people as possible on Facebook, we want a new house, a new car, a new trip... possibly to the moon. And with all that, we are quite dissatisfied because we are missing something. The joy of living life and not just being a simple witness to it. This joy that the moment can offer, the current moment we are living.

I did an interview with one of the most interesting contemporary Romanian artists, Sasha Meret, who spoke directly about this:

"The vast majority of humanity ignores the present moment and the real resources they have, in order to build a universe of possible satisfactions. A large part of humanity, especially those who have too many options, choose to live in projections or nostalgia, generating a tsunami of dissatisfaction, frustration and suffering in which a large part of the chances to live to the fullest of the moment are drowned."

We are in constant competition with those around us, with ourselves, with our parents, with our friends, we always want to prove something, we plan our lives but we forget to live this moment. The moment I write these words. It seems to me that many times, caught in the tide of daily events, we forget the importance of the moment itself that we are living and we don't know how to enjoy it. Or we forgot to do that... Life is not about how big is the bank account and how spacious is the luxury car we had. Life is about the moments we collect.

"This life is like a race, not the one you come in and run
But one where you catch mice,
You consume and don't research, pay installments until you die,
With dilated pupils, watching TV.”
CTC – Insomnia

I'm not a person who makes plans, I don't like to know exactly what I'm going to do on September 5, 2016. I want to enjoy this moment more, to find my balance point and, try as much as possible, to I live my own life and not let her live me.
